We welcome classes to our coastal facility and have many resources to facilitate your field studies. Groups of up to 30 students can be accommodated for up to two weeks during most of the year.
A visit to the coastal facility begins with a reservation, even for a day trip.
Reservations should be made well in advance of your preferred visitation date to ensure that the laboratory space, lodging and/or meeting facilities, equipment, boats and vehicles, and staff assistance are available. Housing, laboratory space, and conference facilites are described under Facilities. A site description is also found there.
On-site training with equipment and assistance with program design and development are available. Reference materials and local expertise enable visitors to quickly learn the habitats.
Fees are charged for laboratory and lodging facilities, equipment, boats and vehicles, and services. See the Reservations & Rates tab for information and forms.
